WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE, Ohio — Washington Court House City Council is set to consider a state fisheries management agreement for Reservoir Two and a change to municipal cemetery rates when it meets Wednesday.

A resolution up for first reading would authorize City Manager Joseph J. Denen to enter into an agreement with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources’ Division of Wildlife to establish a fisheries management program for Reservoir Two, a body of water located in Washington Court House, according to the meeting agenda.

Also up for a first reading is an ordinance that would modify rates charged at the city’s cemetery. The agenda does not detail the specific rate changes proposed.

The resolution is numbered R27-2026 and the ordinance is numbered 11-2026. Under the city’s standard legislative process, both would require additional readings before taking effect.

Council is also scheduled to approve minutes from its July 8 meeting, hear reports from the city manager, director of finance and city attorney, and take comments from local residents and taxpayers, according to the agenda.

The regular meeting is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Washington Court House City Hall, 105 N. Main St.
