CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — The Pickaway County Engineer’s Office has closed Island Road between High Street and Hassel Drive after high water covered the roadway at a railroad underpass, with no timeline yet for reopening.
The closure took effect Tuesday and will remain in place until further notice, according to the county.
Drivers who normally use that stretch of Island Road should plan for an alternate route while the underpass remains impassable, the county said.
