Barbara “Lou” Tyler, 84, of Chillicothe passed 5:08 a.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at National Church Residences.
She was born July 3, 1942 in Ross County to the late Ernest and Mary Wyckoff Wolford. On December 20, 1959 she married Glenn A. Tyler who preceded her November 3, 2010.
Surviving are children, Starr Lynn (James) Hartley, Stacey Lee Tyler and Shelley LaNay Tyler, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Christy, Dustin, Jason and Justin; great grandchildren, Lacey, Maddy, Colton, Gabe, Landon, Layton and Shelbie; brother, Frank (Janice) Wyckoff, of Chillicothe. She was predeceased by brothers, Arthur D. and Albert Wyckoff.
Barbara had been a line worker for the former Rubber Maid plant and later retired from VAMC where she worked in the Day Care.
A graveside service will be held 1p.m. Monday, August 31, 2026 in Greenlawn Cemetery, with Pastor Jeremy Shinkle officiating.
