GREEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Lane restrictions on Gallia Pike, also known as County Road 1, will remain in place in Green Township through Sept. 12 as work continues in the area between Braunlin Road and Raike Lane.
UPDATE (Sept. 4, 3:15 p.m.): This story has been updated with additional information from the Scioto County Engineer’s Office.
The restrictions, originally set to run through Sept. 4, will now continue each day from Sept. 4 through Sept. 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the Scioto County Engineer’s Office said in a news release. Flaggers will remain on hand to direct traffic through the work zone during those hours, and the office asked motorists to use caution while passing through.

The Scioto County Engineer’s Office is responsible for maintaining county roads and bridges throughout Scioto County. It is led by Darren LeBrun, a registered professional engineer and professional surveyor who has served as county engineer since January 2017. LeBrun, a 1990 graduate of Minford High School and an Ohio University civil engineering graduate, previously worked at the engineer’s office as a project engineer from 1997 to 2000 before returning as county engineer.
