CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Ross County Health District will run its 2026 Mobile Vaccine Clinic Tour at 13 stops across the county from Sept. 28 through Oct. 29, offering flu shots at senior centers, townships, schools and community sites.
The tour opens Sept. 28 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Bainbridge Senior Center, 203 E. Second St., and closes Oct. 29 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Southeastern Local School, 2003 Lancaster Road, according to the health district.
Other stops include Harrison Township, 7489 Charleston Pike, on Sept. 30 from 3 to 4:30 p.m.; Ohio University Chillicothe, 101 University Drive, on Oct. 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and Deerfield Township, 10870 Main St. in Clarksburg, later that day from 4 to 6 p.m.
The mobile unit will also stop at the YMCA of Ross County, 100 Mill St., on Oct. 6 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Paxton Township, 202 S. Mountain St., on Oct. 8 from 4 to 6 p.m.; and the Ross County Fairgrounds, 344 Fairgrounds Road, on Oct. 10 from 8 a.m. to noon, where the health district is combining the flu clinic with its previously announced tire drive.
The health district will hold two more stops at the Ross County Senior Center, 1824 Western Ave., on Oct. 12 from 9 a.m. to noon, and at the Ross County Courthouse, 2 N. Paint St., on Oct. 13 from 6 to 9 a.m. and 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Additional dates include the Huntsmen Market, at the corner of Blain Highway and state Route 772, on Oct. 15 from 4 to 6 p.m.; the Ross County Community Action Coalition, 250 N. Woodbridge Ave., on Oct. 20 from 4:30 to 6 p.m.; and the Richmond Dale Community Building, 225 Market St., on Oct. 22 from 4 to 6 p.m.
The health district accepts most insurance for the vaccinations, but residents must bring an insurance ID card to receive the benefit. The cost without accepted insurance coverage is $30, according to the health district.
