HILLSBORO, Ohio — Water service to homes along Northwoods Road and Carriage Court will be shut off Thursday morning while city crews install a new water valve, according to the city of Hillsboro.
The interruption is scheduled to begin at 7:30 a.m. Sept. 3, the city said in a Facebook post. Crews expect to restore service by around noon, weather and work conditions permitting.
The city apologized for the inconvenience and asked affected residents to watch its Facebook page for updates on the project’s progress.
Utility crews across Highland County periodically shut off water service to install or replace aging valves and lines, work that is typically scheduled during daytime hours to minimize disruption to residents.
