PAINT TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A Paint Township man was arrested Sept. 3 after deputies said he fled in a vehicle from the scene of a reported domestic dispute before being stopped nearby.
The Highland County Sheriff’s Office received multiple 911 calls at about 8:01 a.m. reporting a domestic dispute in the 7000 block of Highland Trail E., according to the sheriff’s office. Deputies were dispatched to the area.

As deputies arrived near the scene, they spotted a suspect vehicle traveling on Highland Trail E. and conducted a traffic stop, the sheriff’s office said. The driver was identified as Jerry Green Jr.
Another deputy continued to the residence to investigate the reported disturbance. The investigation led to Green being charged with domestic violence, according to the sheriff’s office. He was transported to the Highland County Jail.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
