RONALD GENE SHADLEY, age 57, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at his home. His death was sudden and unexpected.
He was born on June 28, 1969 in Washington CH to Garnet Ann Shadley. He was a 1988 graduate of Washington High School. Ronald proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was last employed at Ahresty Corporation in Wilmington. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, and was an avid Ohio State fan.
Ronald was preceded in death by the father who raised him, Paul Leisure, and his grandmother, Garnet Shadley.
Survivors include his mother, Garnet Ann Shadley; son, Ronald (Jessie) Woods; grandson, Ronald Woods, Jr.; siblings, Michele (Robert Kimbler) Leisure, Paula Leisure, Kevin (Mary) Leisure, and Melody (Bill) Hay; nephews, Treg Langley, Darnell (Cassie) Langley, Emmitt (Alexis) Langley, Ronnie Leach, Brad Hay, and Brian Hay; and nieces, Brittany Langley, April Leisure, Tiara Leisure, and Kelly Hay. Also surviving are several great nieces and nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
