CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A stretch of Liberty Hill Road was shut down Monday evening after a crash dispatched as a fatality, according to initial emergency radio traffic monitored by the Scioto Valley Guardian.
Shortly after 5:53 p.m., dispatchers directed units to close the roadway near Liberty Hill Road and reroute traffic, telling responding crews the crash was being treated as a fatal, according to radio traffic. Traffic was diverted down Liberty Hill Road while crews worked the scene.
Ross County Engineer’s Office personnel were also dispatched to assist with traffic control at the closure, according to radio traffic.
