WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE, Ohio — CenterPoint Energy crews will close News Plaza in downtown Washington Court House beginning Tuesday morning to repair a gas leak, the city said.
The plaza, which connects Court Street — home to the Fayette County Courthouse — to the city parking lot, is set to close at 7 a.m. Tuesday and will remain shut until the repair is finished, the city said in a Facebook post. Officials did not give a specific reopening time.
City officials asked drivers and pedestrians to use alternate routes and expect delays while the work is underway.
