Robert Wayne McCoy, 64, of Waverly, Ohio, passed 5:20 p.m., Monday, September 21, 2026, at Adena Pike Medical Center, Waverly, Ohio.
Robert was born January 21, 1962, in Columbus, Ohio, the son of the late Herman McCoy, and Wilma Lucille (Oliver) McCoy. On May 11, 1980, he was united in marriage to Janet Kay (Hatfield) McCoy, who preceded him in death on July 4, 2009.
He is survived by four children, Anthony (Amy) Hatfield, Donna (Michael Music) McCoy, Katherine (Dustin Schuyler) McCoy, and Amanda (Stacey) Benson; eighteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and four brothers, Timothy McCoy, Herman McCoy, Jim McCoy, and Sargent Buddy McCoy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Janet McCoy, and a granddaughter, Brooklin Burton.
Robert enjoyed spending his timewith family singing wood-working and tinkering with cars.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 2, 2026, at Howe Wheeler Boyer Funeral Home, Piketon, Ohio. Burial will follow at Gardner Cemetery, Waverly, Ohio.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the beginning of the service on Friday at the funeral home in Piketon.
