Rose Ann Cordrey, age 93, of Lynchburg, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2026 at Highland District Hospital. She was born the daughter of the late John and Mary (Cordy) Maher on July 16, 1933 in St. Martin. Rose Ann was a proud member of the Catholic Church and attended at St. Martin and most recently at St. Mary in Hillsboro. Rose Ann is survived by her sons, Dave (Cheryl) Cordrey, Tom Cordrey, and Doug (Dreama) Cordrey; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and sister, Mary Marguerite “Marge” Rankin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Cordrey; a granddaughter, Kristy Morgan; and siblings, Ellen Walker, Kate Pfeffer, John Maher Jr., Donald Maher, Earl Maher, Raymond Maher, and Raphael “Whitey” Maher. Visitation for Rose Ann will be held on Monday, September 28, 2026 from 11:00am until time of funeral service at 1:00pm at Davis-Turner Funeral Home. Fr. Mike Paraniuk will be celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Martin Cemetery. Davis-Turner Funeral Home is serving the family.
