
Sharon Kaye Fenner, 84, of New Market, Ohio, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2026, at Edgewood Manner, Greenfield. She was born July 10, 1942, in Lynchburg, Ohio, the daughter of the late John Taylor and Alberta Irene (Wilkin) Gunsauley. Sharon attended New Market and Hillsboro schools, and she later became treasurer for the New Market School Reunion Committee. Sharon was a longtime member of the Highland County Senior Center and an active member of the local Red Hatters Society. Sharon was also a proud member of the Hillsboro Homemakers. Sharon is survived by two sons, Kelley (Ester) of Peebles and Daryl (Pam) of East Danville; one daughter, Dianna (David) of Virginia Beach, Virginia; seven grandchildren, Tiffany, Mathew, Seth, Shane, Zach, James, and Harley; ten great grandchildren; sister, Tammy; brother, Dave; her lifelong childhood friend, Jean Coss and her dear friend, Jeannie Shaffer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, Hugh Fenner; one son, Jarred; one great grandson, Brayden; four brothers, James, Larry, Donald and Raymond Gunsauley and stepmother, Elsie Gunsauley. Visitation for Sharon will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Turner & Son Funeral Home, Hillsboro, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at 11:00am also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in New Market Cemetery. A potluck will be held at Daryl’s following the burial.
