David was a bright and funny soul who could light up any room with his stories. Whether sharing a cherished memory or spinning a bit of fiction he had dreamed up on the spot, David always had a way of entertaining those around him and making people smile. He was a generous and giving person who was always willing to lend a helping hand. If he had something to give, he was happy to share.
David was also his brother Tony’s right-hand man for many years, sharing a special bond through their time working together.
When David wasn’t busy, he loved to spend time fishing either by himself or with anyone willing to tag along.
David’s kindness, generosity, colorful stories and willingness to help others will remain a lasting part of the lives he touched. Though he will be deeply missed, the memories he created and the love he shared will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
The family would like to extend a special “thank you” to the staff of Adena Hospice, especially his nurse, John, for the loving care given to David and compassion shown to our family during his illness.
