Bonnie Poling 87, of Chillicothe, passed 12:51 a.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2026 following an extended illness.
She was born July 21, 1939 to the late Ralph and Ruth Bowman Nihiser. On May 18, 1958 she married Robert Poling, who survives.
Also surviving are children; Bob (April) Poling Jr., Terry (Becky) Poling, Greg (Angie) Poling, all of Chillicothe; Grandchildren, Jessica (Tyler) Moss, of Chillicothe, Lindsey Poling, of Frankfort, Blake Poling, of Denver CO, TJ (Jessica) Poling, of Chillicothe, Tiffany (Jason) Tyalor, Sam Poling, of Washington Courthouse, Bridgette (Cody) Moonen, Portsmouth Va, Brittney (Eddie) Skaggs, of Chillicothe, Brandon (Grace) Poling, of Fort Worth TX, Cody (Julie) Damron, of Chillicothe, Jordon Damron, of Chillicothe; several great grandchildren; special nephews, Ralph Bowman and Kevin Bowman; she was predeceased by a sister, Rosemary Bowman.
Bonnie attended the Hilltop Mission Church and she sang at numerous churches surrounding the area. Bonnie worked at Thompson Industries in Waverly OH, Rubber maid of Chillicothe, General Electric in Circleville, and Kenworth. She volunteered for 25yrs on the Scioto Township EMS, where she was a squad lieutenant.
Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2026 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with pastor Aaron Saterfield officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.
