Patricia Sowers, 68, of Waverly, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2026 at Ohio Health Hospice House in Columbus. She was born on May 1, 1958 to Charles Wolfe and the late Helen Edith Hammonds Wolfe. On November 20, 1983 Patricia was united in marriage to Ralph E. Sowers Jr who preceded her in death on November 15, 2022. Surviving are her children, Mike (Cathy) Dunn of Waverly and Deborah Dunn and Tony of Waverly; step-sons, Kenny (Michele) Sowers of Waverly and William (Jennifer) Sowers of North Carolina; grandchildren, Dylan (Julie), Gracie, Hannah(Brady), Jessica Paige, Samantha, Shalyn, Kaitlyn and Jason; 4 great grandchildren; brothers, Charles Wolfe Jr., John (Teresa) Wolfe and Jeffrey Bryant of Waverly; sisters, Helen Bolen and Dirik, Shirley Brust, Charlene Campbell and Leon, Judie (Lee)Whitt, Angie (Steve) Gilbert and Lynda (Ritchie) Purdy; and several nephews and nieces. In addition to her mother and husband she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Gerald Aeh and a dear friend, Brenda Szoke.
Patricia loved puzzles, gardening and she especially loved cooking for her family and was always happiest spending time with her grandkids.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2026 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly. Burial will follow in Evergreen Union Cemetery on Denver Rd. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
