CLAUDIA JO HAGGARD, age 73, of Washington CH, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2026 at her home.
She was born on October 6, 1953 in Washington CH to the late David L. and Coema R. (Brewer) Haines Leaverton. She was a 1971 graduate of Logan High School. Claudia worked as a beautician for many years. She enjoyed singing, dancing, and doing hair.
In addition to her parents, Claudia was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Haggard; grandchildren, Riley Young, and Zenee Miller; and sisters, Karen Clay, and Patricia Haines.
Surviviors include her significant other of sixteen years, John Thomas; her children, Kendra (Kevin) Miller, and Cody (Jackie) Bowen; grandchildren, Tylor Haggard, Colt Miller, Dustin Miller, Alexis Miller, Kaylee Mossbarger, Reagen Bowen, Kennedy Bowen, Isaac Schafer, Charleigh Bowen, Zayne Schafer, Serenity Bowen, Silas Bowen, Austin Kate, and Jordan Caplonger; great-grandchildren, Beau, Rosalie, Bryson, Skotlyn, Layla, and Luke; and siblings, Danny Leaverton, Julia Speakman, and Howard (Christine) Leaverton. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Hodge officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
