PORTSMOUTH, Ohio — Portsmouth police are asking for the public’s help finding a 16-year-old girl who has been missing since Sunday night.
Tanya McDowell was last seen around 10:30 p.m. Sunday in the 1800 block of Grandview Avenue, according to the Portsmouth Police Department. She is listed as a missing and runaway juvenile.
McDowell is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and about 125 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes, police said. She was last seen wearing maroon shorts, a black shirt and black and white Nike shoes.
Anyone with information on McDowell’s location is asked to contact Detective Bower at the Portsmouth Police Department at (740) 353-4101 or (740) 354-1600, according to police.
