WEST PORTSMOUTH, Ohio — State Route 73/104 at Calverts Lane is closed until further notice Monday as crews investigate a crash, according to the Washington Township Fire Department.
The Washington Township Fire Department, which serves the West Portsmouth area of Scioto County, asked drivers to seek an alternate route while the investigation continues. No timeline for reopening the roadway has been released.
State Route 73 and State Route 104 run concurrently for more than six miles north from Portsmouth through Washington Township, passing near West Portsmouth.
