Geneva Ruth Dravenstott, 90, of Wheelersburg, OH, passed away Monday, November 2, 2026, at SOMC Hospice. She was born December 20, 1935, in Scioto County, OH to the late James and Waverly (Wooten) Hemming and also preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Lee Hicks, and her second husband, Earl Dravenstott. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a son: Charles Hicks; three sisters: Eva Blair, Iva Hemming and Linda Hemming; three brothers: Harland Hemming, Jimmy Hemming and Charles Hemming. Those left to celebrate her life are a daughter: Sandra (James) Elswick; four brothers: Chester Hemming, Robert Hemmings, Carl Hemming and Roger Hemming; two sisters: Joann Crabtree and Janet Bridwell; seven grandchildren: Jerry Meeker, Josh Meeker, Charles Hicks, Rachael McGraw, James Junior Elswick, Kayla Elswick, Lori Elswick, four great grandchildren and several special nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be 1:00pm, Thursday, November 5, 2026, at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home, 11623 Gallia Pike, Wheelersburg, OH with Pastor Joey Vanmeter officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Burial Park. Visitation will be 11:00am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
