CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Scioto Valley Guardian will carry live, county-by-county results from Tuesday’s Ohio general election on its election results page, https://sciotovalleyguardian.com/election-results-2026/, beginning as soon as polls close at 7:30 p.m.
The interactive map covers all 88 Ohio counties and highlights the seven the Guardian covers: Ross, Pickaway, Fayette, Highland, Pike, Vinton and Scioto. Readers can filter by race, county, community or party, tap any county for its full ballot, and watch the numbers refresh automatically every few minutes as the Ohio Secretary of State’s election night feed updates.
At the top of the ballot are the race for governor between Republican Vivek Ramaswamy and Democrat Amy Acton, and the U.S. Senate contest between Republican Jon Husted and Democrat Sherrod Brown for the term ending in January 2029. Also on the statewide ballot are attorney general, auditor, secretary of state, treasurer, two Ohio Supreme Court seats and State Issue 3, which would require photo identification to vote.
Locally, the page tracks U.S. House Districts 2 and 15, Ohio Senate Districts 3 and 17, Ohio House Districts 12, 90, 91 and 92 and the 4th District Court of Appeals, along with each county’s own races, levies and liquor options as the county boards of elections post their unofficial reports. School levies and township fire, EMS and cemetery levies in each county will appear in the county panel as they are reported.
The Guardian will call races based on its own analysis of precincts reporting and the margin between candidates, and will mark any race inside Ohio’s automatic-recount band as too close to call. All results are unofficial until the Secretary of State certifies them later this month.
A results story for each of the seven counties will publish Tuesday night and be updated as more precincts and the county boards’ local returns come in, along with statewide stories on the governor and U.S. Senate races.
