Barbara M. Breech, 76, of McDermott, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at SOMC Hospice. She was born December 15, 1949, in Portsmouth to the late Ray and Opal Belle Adkins Davis.
Barbara attended Duck Run Church and enjoyed spending time with her family, whom she loved dearly. She cherished the moments spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Andrew “Bob” Breech, whom she married May 12, 1967; two sons, Tracey (Stacy) Breech and Gary (Lora) Breech; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Breech; three brothers, Homer (Mary) Davis, Paul Wayne (Sue) Davis, and Gordon Donald Davis; four grandchildren, Amber Breech, Charity (Patrick) Arnett, Hunter Breech, and Stacy (Jacob) Burchett; ten great-grandchildren, Aryanna Breech, Brantlee Breech, Aerith Arnett, Ethan Colley, Leah Colley, Amelia Ruggles, Oaklie Burchett, Braylynn Burchett, Michael Bowman, and Elizabeth Bowman; and a special cousin, Jan Breech.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 6, 2026, at Duck Run Community Church, with Kyle Carter officiating and interment to follow in Rushtown Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and one hour prior to the funeral service on Friday.
