WILLIAMSPORT, Ohio — A person was in a standoff with law enforcement in Pickaway County Tuesday night.
It happened on Randle Road near Justus Road close to Williamsport after police arrived there at around 9:45 p.m.
Law enforcement sources confirmed to the Guardian that a man was inside a residence with — what police believe to be — two children. Eventually, law enforcement were able to communicate with the man and talk him outside. He was placed under arrest and taken to the hospital.
It’s unknown why police were called to the home initially.
