WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE, Ohio — Fayette County commissioners are set to consider a $77,829 contract to reseal the apron at the county airport and a $12,940 contract for a baseball-themed mural at Jeffersonville Park when they meet Aug. 10, according to the county’s agenda.
The airport apron work would go to Henry W. Bergman Inc. for an asphalt seal coat at the Fayette County Airport, the agenda said.
Commissioners are also scheduled to authorize a contract with artist Sandy Kessler Kaminski to create an 8-foot-by-24-foot baseball-themed mural on corrugated metal at Jeffersonville Park. The agenda calls for the mural to be finished no later than Sept. 15, with half of the $12,940 cost paid upfront.
Other new business on the agenda includes a $4,718.14 service quote from McKee to repair the sally port door at the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, and a resolution authorizing the tax levies the county will collect in fiscal year 2027.
Commissioners are also expected to authorize a set of agreements with Enterprise Fleet Management Inc. and Enterprise FM Trust, including a master equity lease, a maintenance management and fleet rental agreement, a full maintenance agreement and a fleet management credit application, according to the agenda.
The board will also review the county’s 2026 Tax Incentive Review Council recommendation to continue all existing tax incentive agreements, including Community Reinvestment Area agreements, Tax Increment Financing agreements and Enterprise Zone agreements, as the council reviewed them at its June 30 meeting, the agenda said.
The meeting is scheduled for Aug. 10. The agenda is subject to change, the county said.
