CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — One person was injured Wednesday night when a red SUV left the roadway and struck a tree on Porter Hollow Road in Ross County, authorities said.
A medical helicopter was initially requested for the patient but had an estimated arrival time of nearly 30 minutes. The injured person was instead transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
The roadway was closed as the Ohio State Highway Patrol investigated the crash. No further details were immediately available.
