GREEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Drivers on Gallia Pike, also known as County Road 1, will continue to run into lane restrictions in Green Township this week as work continues in the area between Braunlin Road and Raike Lane.
The restrictions will be in place Tuesday, Sept. 1, through Friday, Sept. 4, each day from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the Scioto County Engineer’s Office said in a news release. Flaggers will be on hand to direct traffic through the work zone during those hours, and the office asked motorists to use caution while passing through.

The Scioto County Engineer’s Office is responsible for maintaining county roads and bridges throughout Scioto County. It is led by Darren LeBrun, a registered professional engineer and professional surveyor who has served as county engineer since January 2017. LeBrun, a 1990 graduate of Minford High School and an Ohio University civil engineering graduate, previously worked at the engineer’s office as a project engineer from 1997 to 2000 before returning as county engineer.
