Edwards Funeral Service (EFS) has announced that their Funeral Home has expanded its DIRECT CREMATION service area into southern Ohio.
Edwards has designed an industry-first “direct cremation” Concierge Service model that will allow families in Ross and Pike Counties who are on a budget to afford a Direct Cremation when the traditional viewing and ceremony is not desired.
Edwards offers a first-of-its-kind service model where a family can have a cremation take place for just $995, compared to the funeral homes already serving the area, who charge more than $2,000.
Licensed Funeral Director and Founder, Jeff Edwards says that despite the lower price, the quality of service is arguably better than what other funeral homes offer. Edwards says the company owns and operates their own cremation equipment and have a state of the art crematory facility with a refrigerated holding area capable of handling 100 families simultaneously.
“With ‘The Edwards Process,’ a family who has experienced the loss of a loved one receives a dedicated Funeral Concierge representative who is with the family every step of the way. Your loved one never leaves our care,” Edwards said.“ “Our aggressively priced, affordable service is the same, if not a better service as offered by other funeral homes. Unlike your traditional funeral home that is often disappointed that a family has not chosen a more profitable $10,000 funeral, we specialize in serving families that don’t have the budget for an elaborate traditional funeral. We are able to offer this great service at a reduced price because we do not have the large overhead other area funeral homes have and we do everything in-house”
Edwards says his family owned funeral home has been offering direct cremations at his Columbus-based operation for more than a decade and the reception has been astounding.
“Families who have used our service continue to return when the next passing happens in their family and we look forward to establishing a long-lasting relationship with the people of Chillicothe, Waverly, and surrounding areas.”
Edwards says that they have expanded the direct cremations service area earlier this week and look forward to building long lasting trust relationships with families in Ross and Pike counties.
