SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio — Troopers with the Ohio Highway Patrol seized nearly two pounds of suspected heroin during a traffic stop in Scioto County.
According to reports, troopers stopped a 2021 Toyota Camry, on Monday, around 11 p.m. for a marked lane violation along route 823 in Scioto County.
Troopers said the vehicle’s occupants shown criminal indicators and a K-9 unit was dispatched to the scene.
Officials say the dog, alerted troopers to the presence of narcotics.
Troopers with the patrol said nearly two pounds of suspected heroin were found inside the vehicle.
The drugs reportedly held a street value of nearly $100,000.
Arrested were Randy Tribble Jr., 26, Harper Wood, Michigan, and Derick Fonville, 32, Detroit, Michigan. The two suspects were transported to the Scioto County Jail on felony drug trafficking charges.
