FAYETTE COUNTY, Ohio — A gas station was robbed and a car was stolen in Fayette County.

It happened around 1 a.m. on Saturday at TrueNorth fueling station on route 35 by the outlet mall.

A person robbed the station and then, stole a 1990 Chevy Blazer. The SUV is blue with license plate JJY 2575.

Detectives worked the scene and took security video in as evidence.

“The reported robbery at True North and subsequent reported theft of a vehicle from the parking lot is currently being investigated,” Sheriff Vernon P. Stanforth told the Guardian.

No one was injured in the reported robbery or car jacking.

The blazer reportedly has a sticker on the rear window that reads “I ain’t scared.”
