ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A search and rescue operation in Ross County to find a missing child ended after a little over an hour.

After walking away from home Thursday evening shortly before 9 p.m., the juvenile had been missing ever since. Deputies responded to the 4000 block of Main Street in South Salem to begin an investigation.

Around 10:30 p.m., dispatchers with the Sheriff’s Office called for all Ross County Search and Rescue personnel to respond to the area.

The child, 10-year-old, Endica Snyder was later found at her grandparents’ home in Greenfield.
