CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Guardian and Horizon announced the first of five winners on Monday in a $500 gas card giveaway.
The contest, which runs until the end of May, allows the public to enter to win a free $100 gas card — up to five times.
The first winner was drawn randomly on Monday and was Andrew Hayes of Chillicothe.
“With gas prices soaring this high and families trying to make ends meet in these hard economic times, we’re glad Horizon is working with the Guardian to give back,” said the Guardian’s Assistant Editor Jay Salley.
