WAVERLY, Ohio— The Waverly Fire Department is holding a bicycle and wagon decorating contest for this year’s Memorial Day Parade.
The parade, officials said, will be held Monday, May 30th.
A $25 prize will be awarded in 5 different categories: most patriotic, youngest, oldest, and best overall bike/wagon.
Judging for the contest will be at 9:30 a.m. the morning of the parade at the Waverly Post Office at 125 E 2nd Street.
Organizers say all contestants are invited to ride in the parade following the judging at 10:00 a.m.
