VINTON COUNTY, Ohio — On November 21, 2022, deputies with the Vinton County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to Clarion Road after getting a call about two individuals who were passed out in a vehicle near the roadside.
As law enforcement officers got closer to the vehicle, reports read, the driver got out and ran into the nearby woods.
A woman named Amanda Ball, 41, of Vinton County, was apprehended inside the vehicle and taken into custody.
According to Sheriff Cain, the vehicle was searched, and the results revealed a large quantity of methamphetamine, as well as scales and other drug paraphernalia. Ball was arrested and taken to the Southeastern Regional Jail. The man, the sheriff’s office said, was later identified, and charges are pending against that person. His name has not been released to the media at this time.
