PICKAWAY COUNTY, Ohio — Deputies in Pickaway County came under fire after responding to a 9-1-1 call.
According to initial reports, the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office was involved in an exchange of gunfire while responding to a possible domestic dispute in the 15000 block of Ett Noecher Road on Monday evening.
Dispatchers said deputies were met with gunfire from an individual at the residence when they arrived at the scene shortly after 8 p.m. After a few tense moments, two individuals were taken into custody by law enforcement.
The circumstances of the incident are currently unclear, and the identity of the gunman has not been released. Officials have stated that an investigation is in the early stages. No further information is available at this time.
