Felix Fields Jr. age 75 of Wilmington, Ohio passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023 at the Respiratory and Nursing Center in Dayton, Ohio.
He was born August 19, 1947 at the Gist Settlement in New Vienna, Ohio the son of the late Felix and Grace I. Robinson Fields Sr.
Felix had worked for several businesses in Chillicothe and Columbus. He was involved as a lead singer for several bands. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
He is survived by three children, Sylvia Artis-Jackson of Columbus, Myra (Richard) Artis-King of Columbus, Felix Fields III of Delaware, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, five sisters, Vickie (Anthony) Paris of Miamisburg, Cynthia (Mark) Davis of Wilmington, Doris Fields of Hillsboro, Lois Caldwell of Wilmington, Sharon Fields of Hillsboro, one brother, Dana Fields of Hillsboro and special friend, Debra Hanna. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Carol Louise Fields and Marva Ann Fields.
Services will be held Friday, 1:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Pastor Patty Burns. Burial with military honors presented by the Highland County Honor Guard, will follow in Resthaven Memory Garden. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home.
