Karen Christina Wysong, age 58, of Washington CH, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loved ones on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at the OSU Medical Center in Columbus.
She was born on May 15, 1954, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Donald L. Barker and Beverly (Dysert) Barker.
Karen is survived by her loving husband, Wade Wysong, children, Jimmy (Crystal) Wysong, Chris (Melissa) Wysong, Jason Wysong, and Jennifer (Jeremy) Lindsey, and her eleven grandchildren. Also surviving are her mother, her brother and sisters, Bradley (Liz) Barker, Myra (Ronnie) Morris, Dawnea Johns, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, and father and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Ann Wysong.
Karen enjoyed vacationing in the Great Smoky Mountains, and spending time with her family and friends. Karen completed her circle of life and has left many positive memories. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A funeral service is planned for 1pm on Monday, March 13, 2023, at the Roberts Funeral Home in Washington CH. Burial will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 11am until the start of service.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be graciously accepted to help with Karen’s expenses.
