ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — Firefighters in Ross County were busy Tuesday morning after 9-1-1 dispatchers received a call about a submerged car in flood waters.
The Bainbridge Fire Department responded to State Route 41 at Tong Hollow Road.
Upon arrival, fire department crews discovered the vehicle partially submerged in swift, high flood water, with over half of the vehicle underwater. Due to the dangerous water conditions and high banks of the creek, the crew was unable to access the vehicle.

After an extensive search, it was confirmed that the vehicle was unoccupied, and no individuals were found at the scene. No injuries have been reported as a result of the incident.
The cause of the accident is currently unknown, and authorities are continuing to investigate the incident. Officials have not released any information about the make or model of the vehicle involved in the accident.
