HIGHLAND COUNTY, Ohio — Rocky Fork Lake has received a boost in fish attraction, thanks to the efforts of fisheries management staff and the Ohio chapter of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers. The staff recently added fish attractor structures, including Christmas trees, to several locations around the lake to improve angling opportunities.

The attractor locations have been strategically placed near popular shore access areas, as well as offshore for boat anglers. Fishermen can find specific locations for these and all fish attractor locations around the state on the HuntFish OH App or on the Ohio Department of Natural Resources interactive lake map website.
