There is a heavy police presence near the Valero gas station on the corners of Bridge and Riverside in Chillicothe.
The Chillicothe Police and deputy Sheriffs are on scene of a suicidal man who was initially threatening to jump off the bridge that overlooks the Scioto River along Bridge Street.
The man was caught by police in time before he made it into a position to jump.
He was taken to the hospital by medics for a mental evaluation.
