OHIO — A financial dispute between Pizza Hut and one of its largest franchisees, EYM Group, has resulted in the closure of multiple restaurants across Indiana and Ohio.

The closures raise concerns about the potential shuttering of an additional 122 locations operated by EYM Group.

EYM Group, which manages 142 Pizza Hut franchises in five states, faces allegations of defaulting on millions of dollars reportedly owed to Pizza Hut.

The recent closures include four restaurants in Central Ohio and fifteen in Northwest Indiana.

Pizza Hut has not publicly commented on the specific reasons behind the closures outside of Indiana. However, the Indiana shutdowns coincide with the ongoing legal battle with EYM Group.

The impact on remaining Pizza Hut locations in the affected areas is unclear at this time.
