Case Media Narrative: Deputies were dispatched to State Route 144 for an individual having a mental crisis. Athens County EMS arrived first on scene and the individual refused medical treatment. When the deputies arrived, it was discovered that narcotics were taken and causing them to see and hear things. This individual was transported to the hospital for a mental health evaluation.
