SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio — The Scioto County Grand Jury, under the May term, issued 15 public indictments on August 2, 2024, according to an announcement by Scioto County Prosecutor Shane A. Tieman.
Among those indicted were Jamie Nixon, 45, and Joyce Nixon, 69, both from Portsmouth, Ohio, each facing three counts of cruelty to companion animals. Christine Thomas, 67, also from Portsmouth, was indicted for theft from a person in a protected class.
Krystal Diaz, 37, of Portsmouth, was indicted on two counts of theft and one count of telecommunications fraud. Matthew Blair, 33, and Clifford Haddox, 20, both of Portsmouth, were each indicted for telecommunications fraud.
Jessica Vickers, 36, from Portsmouth, faces a charge of grand theft of a motor vehicle, while Cody Carr, 19, of West Portsmouth, was indicted for burglary, breaking and entering, and misdemeanor theft.
Additionally, Derek Radabaugh, 33, of Lucasville, was indicted for breaking and entering, and Christopher Conley, 41, from Portsmouth, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs and possession of a fentanyl-related compound.
Breashay Swearingen, 38, of Portsmouth, was indicted for aggravated vehicular assault, and Justin Everman, 39, also from Portsmouth, faces multiple charges, including possession of a fentanyl-related compound, possession of cocaine, aggravated possession of drugs, and two counts of possession of drugs.
Rounding out the indictments, Justin Truitt, 25, of West Portsmouth, was charged with tampering with evidence, aggravated possession of drugs, and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia. Randy Addie, 49, from Portsmouth, was indicted for possession of cocaine and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
