NEWARK, Ohio – An Amber Alert has been issued for a 1-year-old girl missing from Newark, Ohio. Authorities are seeking public assistance in locating the child, who was last seen in a silver 2006 Honda SUV with Ohio license plate KHE7597.
The missing girl, described as an Asian female with brown hair and brown eyes, is approximately 1 foot 2 inches tall and weighs around 17 pounds. She was last seen wearing a red flannel dress with white tights.
The suspect in the abduction has been identified as Sewak Tiwari, a 19-year-old Asian male. He is described as 6 feet tall, weighing about 120 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. Tiwari was last seen wearing black and red shorts, white Crocs, and a blue Batman shirt.
Authorities urge anyone who sees the vehicle or suspect to immediately call 911 or contact local law enforcement.
UPDATE: The alert has been canceled. The child has been found in Columbus, safe and unharmed.
