NYC, New York — UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was fatally shot in Midtown Manhattan earlier today in what police believe was a targeted attack.
The shooting occurred outside the Hilton Hotel on West 55th Street, where Thompson was attending an investor’s conference. Witnesses reported a masked gunman approached Thompson and fired before fleeing the scene. The suspect remains at large, according to authorities.
