CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Ross County voters will head to the polls on today for a primary election featuring unopposed candidates and several key issues.

All candidates in the primary are unopposed within their parties and will advance directly to the November general election.

Local ballots include the Zane Trace School District’s 0.75% income tax renewal for a continuing period and a Sunday sales measure for wine, mixed beverages, and spirituous liquor at multiple establishments, including American Legion Post 62, AmVets Post 0004 Russell Price, Atomic Speedway, Inc., Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar, Jerry’s Pizza, and The Postmark’s first, second floors, and basement.

Statewide, voters will consider Issue 2, authorizing $2.5 billion in general obligation bonds, or $250 million annually over 10 years, to fund roads, wastewater treatment, solid waste disposal, and other infrastructure projects.

Polls will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Election Day. Voters can find their polling location on the Ross County Board of Elections website.
