A medical helicopter has been requested for a person hurt in an accident in Circleville. It happened at around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday on route 23 near Wal-Mart. Multiple vehicles are reportedly involved. The crash is impacting numerous businesses in the area, including the drive-thru of Panda Express. No names have been released.

A barn was destroyed in Pickaway County overnight after a fire broke out. It happened along route 56 in Jackson Township just after 5 a.m. on Wednesday. When firefighters arrived flames were seen shooting through the roof at 5950 route 56. The barn is a total loss. No official word on what caused the blaze.

The Pickaway County Sheriff’s office has sworn in two new deputies, both of whom are veterans. Deputy Lance Canterbury is a veteran of the U.S Army and Deputy Rob Morningstar is a U.S Marine Corps veteran. The men recently started at the Sheriff’s office and have already begun working the roads.
