Firefighters put out flames near Rose Avenue Thursday night. It happened in Chillicothe at about 5:30 p.m. 9-1-1 calls initially reported a brush fire near railroad tracks, but when units arrived they found an abandoned couch on fire. No injuries were immediately reported.
