A man the Guardian told you about nearly two weeks ago is officially charged with raping a teenager, along with 62 other felonies.
Jeffrey Wilson, Sunny Drive, Washington Court House, was indicted on Friday with one count of first-degree felony rape, one count of second-degree felony pandering obscenity involving a minor, and 61 counts of fourth-degree felony pandering obscenity involving a minor.
Police in Fayette County said the 53-year-old man was found Monday morning at around 1:30 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Express in town.
It was reported by police that they went to the hotel after a night clerk phoned them saying that two “young girls” were wondering around the hotel, scared, and saying that they feared a man that they were at the hotel with.
When officers arrived, they found a hotel door propped opened and Wilson passed out — naked — on the bed. The girls reportedly told officers that Wilson had been drinking, running around the room naked, urinating all over the place, and was scaring them.
Wilson was arrested and charged with child endangerment. A couple days later, officers executed a search warrant on Wilson’s cell phone and electronic devices. On them, police found images of him having sexual relations with one of the girls while she was asleep, reports say.
Wilson is said to have custody of the girls, but it was not revealed why, according to statements. Officers say he admitted to the sexual contact while the girl was asleep.
Wilson has pleaded not guilty on the indictments.
