The Governor of Ohio issued mandatory visiting restrictions at nursing homes throughout the state.
Nursing homes will only permit one visitor per day per patient, according to the Governor. The visitor will have to undergo a brief medical screening, have their temperature taken, and answer a series of questions before being allowed to enter the building. They will also have to provide identification and sign a visitor’s log.
The Governor said four confirmed cases of the virus are in Ohio with numerous others under quarantine. He said the next phase will be to ban visitors to nursing homes altogether as this outbreak continues to grow.
