WILMINGTON, Ohio — A teenager is wanted in connection to the killing of a 20-year-old Clinton County man.
Wilmington Police said they’re searching for 14-year-old Yevin Medley, who police said shot and killed Caleb King in the city on Saturday night.
It happened at 1637 Darbyshire Drive after someone called 9-1-1 to report the shooting.
“The number one priority is the safe apprehension of Medley, and we are collaborating with agencies statewide to do so,” said Police Chief Ron Cravens.
The Guardian has chosen to name the teen due to the severity of the crime.
King and Medley knew each other, police said.
The murder weapon has not been recovered.
Police have not said how the shooting unfolded or what events led up to the slaying.
